What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, that is except when F1 is in town. F1 has pulled out all the stops in its return to Sin City to make this one of the greatest spectacles the sport has ever put on with a night race on a circuit that runs down the Vegas strip. With a layout that favors straights over sweeping turns it is expected that we will see similar average speeds to Monza.
Statisticians delight as Red Bull and Max Verstappen continue to break records with each passing Grand Prix and Las Vegas doesn’t look to be any different. Expect him to take the win. More interesting for Red Bull is the battle for second place which Sergio Perez is desperately trying to secure as rumors of his replacement in 2024 swirl in the background. Look for him to finish just outside the podium positions. On the AlphaTauri side of the garage the car and drivers continue to improve after adopting the rear suspension concept from the RB19. Expect one driver to be in the points.
Elsewhere on the grid, look for this to be a general ranking of team performance coming into the race weekend:
1. Red Bull
2. Mercedes
3. McLaren
4. Ferrari
5. Alpine
6. Aston Martin
7. Williams
8. AlphaTauri
9. Alfa Romeo
10. Haas
