F1 returns to North America this weekend for the Canadian Grand Prix! Built on a man-made island, Circuit Gilles Villeneuve first hosted the Canadian Grand Prix in 1978 (where Gilles Villeneuve took the win). Known for its power-hungry long straights and sharp turns, the circuit is a favorite of drivers and fans alike. Completed for the 2019 race, the all new $44M pit facility will see its third use this weekend.
Red Bull return to Canada riding a wave of near impeccable form from their car and Max Verstappen. Barring any egregious errors look for Max Verstappen to take the win with a podium finish also possible for Perez. On the AlphaTauri side of the garage look for one car in with a shot of picking up the last available point and the other just outside those positions.
Elsewhere on the grid, look for this to be a general ranking of team performance coming into the race weekend:
1. Red Bull
2. Ferrari
3. Aston Martin
4. Mercedes
5. Alpine
6. McLaren
7. Haas
8. AlphaTauri
9. Williams
10. Alfa Romeo
