Formula 1 travels to the brightly-lit streets of Marina Bay in Singapore for its original night race. This street circuit has the unique distinction of having more turns than any other circuit on the F1 calendar, 23, and a 100% probability [to-date] of a safety car deployment. It is also known for hot and humid weather conditions that challenge both man and machine.
It is possible that this weekend that Red Bull and particularly Max Verstappen could reach the milestone of clinching his second consecutive World Driver Champion title. Admittedly a lot has to go right for it to happen here but is speaks to the utter dominance of the team this season. Look for Red Bull to take the win. Unfortunately we are not expecting AlphaTauri in the points; however, don’t forget Marina Bay Circuit’s history of safety cars that could give them an opportunity.
Elsewhere on the grid, look for this to be a general ranking of team performance coming into the race weekend:
1. Red Bull
2. Ferrari
3. Mercedes
4. Alpine
5. McLaren
6. Aston Martin
7. Alfa Romeo
8. Haas
9. AlphaTauri
10. Williams
