F1 returns from its summer break for one of the most anticipated races of the year: the Belgian Grand Prix. Set in the Ardennes forest, Spa Francorchamps is arguably one of the most loved circuits on the calendar. High-speed turns like Eau Rouge & Raidillon, the beautiful scenery, and unpredictable weather add to its mystique. Despite this, the future of the event remains in flux with its place not yet secured on the 2023 calendar. This year, fans will be looking for a complete race after wet weather created one of the strangest, and most controversial, Grand Prix in modern F1 history last year.
Red Bull will emerge from the summer break with its eye on consistency as the team look to cement their lead in both championship races. On the Red Bull side we can expect one car on the podium with a win certainly not out of the question. On the AlphaTauri side of the garage look for both cars to finish just outside the points unless there is some attrition ahead of them on the grid.
Elsewhere on the grid, look for this to be a general ranking of team performance coming into the race weekend:
1. Red Bull
2. Ferrari
3. Mercedes
4. Alpine
5. McLaren
6. Aston Martin
7. Haas ↑
8. Alfa Romeo ↓
9. AlphaTauri
10. Williams
