F1 has arrived in Sao Paulo Brazil for the 45th running of the Brazilian Grand Prix, the penultimate race of the season. Having witnessed a good deal of Formula 1 history over the years, the track holds a special place in the hearts of the drivers. It is also one of only two counterclockwise circuits on the F1 calendar.
McLaren Honda’s mission at Interlagos is to seek consistency after oddly varied performance at recent races. The team will aim to get both cars in the points as Jenson Button competes in what is likely the second-to-last F1 race of his career.
Elsewhere on the grid, we will see Nico Rosberg crowned WDC if he finishes second or first; otherwise the battle will come down to the final race of the season. The compact nature of the track should suit Red Bull’s package well, allowing them to compete directly with Mercedes. Ferrari and Force India will look to be spoilers for Red Bull while Williams may trail on a circuit of this nature.
